These issues are driving water utilities to consider technology based solutions that can reduce water losses and enable water conservation.

HP’s annual EMEA Energy Industry Analyst Day, which was held in London last week, combined an update from HP staff on the company’s approach to the energy industry business and its dedicated utilities industry solutions with a presentation by HP’s customer ElectraLink, a provider of data transfer services to the electricity market in Great Britain that has invested in a dedicated analytics platform (Vertica).
