2010 may be year of the Tiger, but for Chevron it is consolidating projects and data, at least as decreed by Chevron's CIO, Denise Coyne for IT strategy. At the same time, Chevron has indicated that its budget will remain the same in 2010 (flat with 2009), however, the allocation of the budget will be prioritized based on Chevron's IT strategy for 2010.

Recently, Microsoft released the findings from its second annual Microsoft & Accenture collaboration survey, and the results are telling. While it is nearly unanimous that the industry believes the human capital challenge, or "the aging workforce" is one of the most critical issues, many of the data points in the survey indicate that efforts to support collaboration at the corporate level are weak, and initiatives to implement enterprise wide collaboration tools are fairly stagnant compared to 2009.

On January 4, Paradigm announced a USD $65 million cash investment from affiliates of private equity firm Fox Paine & Company, Paradigm’s majority shareholder. Mr. Saul Fox, Paradigm Chairman and CEO of Fox Paine & Company indicated that a portion of the capital will be used to retire outstanding $45 million in bank debt that was coming due.
